Haiku master

I love poetry and recently I was challenged by Merriam Webster to compose a haiku about splitting a very expensive tab. It’s my entry and I run the chance of winning a monetary prize if I place in the top three of the contest.

hai·ku/ˈhīˌko͞o/Learn to pronouncenoun

  1. a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world.
    • a poem in English written in the form of a haiku.

Here’s my entry:

Jesus died for me…

The price for my salvation..

It wasn’t cheap, Thanks!
